Worthing Town FC, all our coaches and other volunteers are taking practical measures to help reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus (Coronavirus).

We would ask that all parents and participants read and take note of the information below.

  • For information on the current situation for coronavirus please visit the WWW.GOV.UK website.

  • If you or anyone within your household have been in contact with someone with coronavirus or are feeling unwell with a cough, difficulty breathing or fever, stay at home and use the NHS 111 online coronavirus service or call NHS 111.

  • If you are feeling unwell during a session, please immediately inform your coach.

  • Wash your hands more often than usual, for 20 seconds using soap and hot water, particularly after coughing, sneezing and blowing your nose, or after being in public areas where other people are doing so. Use hand sanitiser if needed.

  • During breaks please wash your hands before and after eating.

  • To reduce the spread of germs when you cough or sneeze, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue, or your sleeve (not your hands) if you don’t have a tissue, and throw the tissue away immediately.

  • Worthing Town FC are encouraging a no-contact policy, which includes all common forms of greeting that contain physical contact such as high fives, fist bumping etc. – please don’t shake hands or high five with other participants or with your coaches.

  • Social distancing will be adhered to wherever possible. Please ensure you keep the safe 2-meter distance at all times between coaches and others. The only exception to this is where medical assistance is required and full PPE will be worn by coaches to administer help.

  • Worthing Town FC will be strictly following guidance regarding the return to football as set out by the Football Association and further details regarding this can be found on our dedicated page on the club website:
